MEET THE TEAM

PHIL OWNER
& SERVICE HERO

BACKSTORY

My name is Phil Whiteford. I live with my beautiful wife Theresa, and our six amazing kids in the Northwest metro area of the Twin Cities. I spent 10 years as a repair technician with one of the most well-known service companies on the planet. I was ranked as one of their top and most highly-rated techs. Our family loves camping, strategy board games and card games. I personally love family road trips (honestly!), cruising around town with kids in our go-kart, throwing a line in the water but never catching any fish, and just being outdoors. You know, the Dad Life.

MISSION PROFILE

I’m factory-trained, and I can service most all appliances. My appliance repair service area is mainly focused on the Twin Cities North Metro. I started Omega Force Appliance Repair because I wanted to build a business where I can work with great families doing what I do best, while also spending more time with my own family. I wanted to create a business that is known for going above and beyond what is expected to deliver the kind of service that I would want for my own family. I want to be known as the guy who does the job right, and treats people right every time. I want to be a force for good. I want to be your Service Hero.

DELTON
SERVICE HERO

BACKSTORY

I’m Delton, and I am excited to be a part of Omega Force Appliance Repair. I live in the Twin Cities South Metro with my wife Heidi, and our two boys, Logan and Owen. I worked with Phil for five years as a repair technician at the same well-known service company mentioned earlier and — like Phil — I can service most appliances. My appliance repair service area is focused on the south metro. I enjoy sports, especially playing on my church softball team and playing basketball, and as a family we love camping up north every summer.

MISSION PROFILE

I love interacting with all the different people I meet on the job at Omega Force Appliance Repair — people like you. I want to be your trustworthy and knowledgeable go-to guy for all of your service repair needs. I am honored to work with Phil and proud to be your Service Hero.

PAUL
SERVICE HERO

BACKSTORY

Hi, I’m Paul Jankovsky and I proudly carry the Omega Force Appliance Repair banner in the Southwest Twin Cities Metro. I’ve travelled the country — from Minnesota to Arizona, then Wyoming, as well as places in between — fixing all kinds of stuff along the way. I was searching for a truly top-shelf, straight-shooting service company where I could put down roots. My search brought me back to the land of 10,000 lakes where I found Omega Force Appliance Repair. I discovered a team and company owner that held themselves to a standard that matched my own. When I first called Phil for an interview, he had me at, “We’re integrity driven.” I live in the Shakopee area with my wife Rebekah, and our four amazing kids – one girl and three boys – and enjoy time with my family, hiking, and playing in the beautiful Minnesota outdoors.

MISSION PROFILE

Omega Force Appliance Repair is a service professional’s “dream team.” I have the tools, the resources and the freedom to do what’s truly best for each customer and to get the job done right. I love working out appliance repair solutions with the customer — helping the homeowner understand the problem and discussing the options for fixing it. I approach every appliance service call with a drive to get that person’s appliance fixed up and running before I leave. My goal is always to leave the house better than I found it.

SETH
SERVICE HERO

BACKSTORY

Hello, I’m Seth Jankovsky. I live in the Western Twin Cities with my wife of 16 years Hannah, and our seven great kids, who range in age from two to 13. And yes, I am related to Paul — we’re brothers, in fact. What are the odds that two guys from the same family end up as co-Service Heros, you ask? Pretty high, if you consider we have a very big family, and that we both have a passion for serving people. My personal journey has taken me through a lot of interesting turns, but I’ve always been about serving and fixing things. I began learning the art of auto repair at the age of 13, which launched a long run as a mechanic. I’ve worked as a software release engineer for Home Depot Corporate, earning platinum level customer service awards. I even spent time as a commercial coffee vending and repair technician fixing stuff like brewers and cappuccino machines before transitioning to home and commercial appliance repair. Along the way, I earned a BA in theology and multicultural studies, then served in the mission field (World Vision) in East Africa where I was coordinating programs, training missionaries, teaching, writing, and publishing. Family time is #1 for us. We love to travel and find adventure wherever we go, and in whatever we’re doing – whether it’s a trip to the pet store or designing, making, and flying kites together. Hannah home-schools our kids, and we’ve transformed our yard into a “food forest” where we practice urban permaculture, growing onions, garlic, chives, peppers, rhubarb, berries, and lots of things we can use and eat.

MISSION PROFILE

I love being in a position to help people. Integrity is a big deal with me. I love that Phil is about doing the right thing, going the extra mile, and doing what’s right by the customer no matter what. My “superpower” is that I notice everything. (I can help you find your car keys, if you like.) I’m also heavy ADHD (that’s a superpower, right?), so working with lots of people in a lot of situations with lots of different challenges occupies my mind, excites me, and helps me focus my energy.

NATE
SERVICE HERO

BACKSTORY

Hello, I’m Nate. I serve the Northwest Twin Cities metro area, where I live with my wife, Christina, who’s a nurse, and our three kids, ages 11, 14, and 16. We love traveling together (road trip!), adventure hikes, bonfires and family games. And sports! Our kids are into basketball, football, cross country running and Nordic skiing. Christina and I enjoy exploring Minnesota together on our motorcycle. My path to becoming a Service Hero is a little unconventional. With an MA in cross-cultural and organizational leadership, I served more than 10 years as a college advisor, recruiter and adjunct professor. In fact, I still teach a couple of online college classes every semester. I also spent a number of years in full-time church and non-profit ministry. When I found myself searching for a new career direction, and new ways to serve people, I looked to the technical service trade and applied with Omega Force. It was a great fit. After many months, hundreds of hours of classroom and hands-on training, and hundreds of service calls as Phil’s sidekick, I earned my toolbelt as a Service Hero, and truly love it.

MISSION PROFILE

My first mission is to get things back to normal for my customer. I want to help get you to a practical solution as quickly and inexpensively as possible. I get a lot of joy and satisfaction from showing my customers things about their appliances that they didn’t know, giving them tips, and de-mystifying how things work. I guess that’s the teacher in me. Finally, I know It’s strange, but I also feel compassion for that inanimate object. I want to restore the appliance to useful life, and keep it from going into a landfill somewhere. I guess that’s part of what we mean by making the world a better place, once appliance repair at a time.

ANGIE
COORDINATOR

BACKSTORY

Hi, my name is Angie. When you call Omega Force Appliance Repair, I’m the friendly voice you hear on the phone. Of course, everyone here is friendly, but since I coordinate the scheduling, you’ll probably hear my voice first. I also do all the invoicing for Omega Force. I’m happily married and have three grown children. I enjoy traveling, walking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I live in the Twin Cities South Metro, where I work happily from my home office. I guess that makes me a home-based Service Hero!

MISSION PROFILE

I like working with Omega Force Appliance Repair because I love what we’re all about – honesty, integrity, and just being nice. The owners and my coworkers are great. Since I won’t get to see you on service calls, I look forward to helping you when you call or email. CHELSIE
COORDINATOR

BACKSTORY

Hi, I’m Chelsie. I grew up in Northern Minnesota, and life has taken me around the US and world over the past 10 years. Now I’m excited to be back home. I have this “electric” energy that keeps me moving through life and energized to take on new experiences. I’ve enjoyed running marathons to support causes like the American Lung Society, Breast Cancer and local homeless shelters. Recently, I’ve become interested in becoming a pilot and have begun taking flight training classes. I have degrees in Interior Design and Business Administration, and 29 years work experience ranging from office administration to warehouse procurement to retail, including five years in customer service management. I’m a fourth-generation German US citizen, following a legacy of shop owners and managers for whom customer service was a way of life. When I was looking for my next challenge, this role with Omega Force – saving the day through “hero-like” customer service – was a perfect fit, and exactly what I was looking for.

MISSION PROFILE

I really do love my job. I’m excited to start work each day, doing my best to serve our customers, vendors and my awesome Omega Force teammates. I love that I can give our customers peace of mind, assuring them that we’re committed to helping them and will be there soon as we can! When customers call I listen to their appliance repair needs, doing my best to understand the issues they’re experiencing, so we can send our skilled Service Hero technicians to the rescue as quickly as possible! My “superpower” is that no matter the situation, I always find a way to go above-and-beyond, giving 100% effort to finding a solution that “saves the day” for our customers.
